Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan arrived in Abu Dhabi today on a state visit to the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, led an entourage of high-profile officials to welcome their majesties upon arrival at the Presidential Flight in Abu Dhabi. They were accorded a red carpet reception as the national anthems of the UAE and Jordan were played.

Also present at the airport to welcome the Jordanian royals were H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Humaid Obaid Khalifa Abushibs, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al Balushi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, and Dr. Hamdan Mussallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent.

The King of Jordan is accompanied by Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affair of Jordan, Jafar Hassan Director of King Abdullah’s Office, and Nassar Al Habashneh, Jordanian Ambassador to UAE.
