His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received Andrej Plenkovic, Prime Minister of Croatia, who is currently visiting the UAE to participate in his country’s National Day celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Croatian Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of President Zoran Milanović of Croatia to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and his best wishes for further progress and prosperity for the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, in turn, conveyed his greetings to the Croatian President and his wishes of lasting peace and stability for Croatia and its people.

During the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed and Plenkovic discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in economic, investment, developmental and other fields.

They also exchanged views on developments in the region, as well as a number of regional and global issues of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
