 SEWA wins gold level of Harvard International Business Award

The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) won the gold level in the Harvard International Business Council Award 2022, based in New York, USA, for the project of natural gas distribution networks in the emirate of Sharjah as the best project that has a positive impact on the environment and society.

This award, granted by the Harvard Business Council every year to individuals and organisations whose efforts and projects have contributed to the positive impact on the environment and society, is considered one of the most prestigious international awards that focus on the concept of total quality management and aims to evaluate institutions in various sectors according to the level of excellence and their adoption of best practices.

Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, Executive Director of SEWA, said that the authority’s strategy aims to develop work fields and provide easier and more comfortable services according to the highest standards, and to be one of the pioneering and pioneering government agencies in adopting and launching many service initiatives and projects that preserve the environment and achieve a sustainable future for future generations.
