 Speakers of Arab Parliaments condemns Houthi’s terrorist attack on civil areas and vital facilities in Saudi Arabia, UAE

Speakers of Arab Parliaments condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attacks on civilians, civilian areas and vital facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with drones and missiles, which represents in a flagrant violation of the rules of international humanitarian law, the UN Charter, and all moral and international standards.

This came during their participation in the Arab Parliament’s Fourth Conference of heads of the Arab Councils and parliaments, held today at the premises of the Arab League in Cairo.

They emphasised that the terrorist attacks pose a threat to regional peace and security, undermine Arab national security, harm international peace and security, and threaten international navigation and energy supplies, as well as global economic stability.

Speakers of the Arab Parliaments also expressed their full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and the government and people of the UAE regarding these terrorist attacks, standing with them in one line against every threat to their security and stability.

They also stressed their support for all the measures they take to maintain their security and safety of their citizens and residents on their lands, and their national interests and capabilities.

They also called on all parliaments and countries of the world to list the Houthi group as a terrorist organisation after its heinous attacks on Saudi Arabia and the UAE and the Yemeni people, as well as threat to maritime navigation and international peace and security.

They also lauded the efforts made by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to achieve security, peace and stability in Yemen.
