Abdullah bin Zayed meets Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs in Muscat
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has discussed with Sayyid Badr Hamad al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, the deep-rooted historic ties between the UAE and Oman, as part of his official visit to Oman.
During the meeting, the foreign ministers discussed ways of boosting their cooperation across all fields, and exchanged views on the latest regional developments as well as on a number of regional and global issues of mutual concern.
Sheikh Abdullah lauded the important outcomes of the visit of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Oman; outcomes, which, he said, testify to the long-standing relations that their countries share, and their eagerness to develop their cooperation on all fronts, in an effort to advance the interests of their countries and peoples, and enhance security, stability and growth in the region and the world.
Sheikh Abdullah stressed that the ties between the UAE and Oman are continuing to grow stronger with the support of their leaderships, stressing their keenness to bolster their cooperation to achieve their mutual interests.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; and Mohammed Sultan Saif Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Oman.
