UAE President receives condolences from Emir of Qatar for Emirati martyrs

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a call offering condolences from His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

During the call, the Emir expressed his deep solidarity and condolences for the loss of a number of members of the UAE Armed Forces, tragically caused by a terrorist act in the Federal Republic of Somalia. The soldiers were committed to training and improving the Somali armed forces. The Emir also extended his wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.

Furthermore, the Emir of Qatar extended his sincere condolences and solidarity to the families of the martyrs, praying that they receive the compassion and infinite blessings of Allah, The Almighty, and that their loved ones find comfort and strength in this difficult time. His Highness also reaffirmed Qatar’s solidarity and support towards the UAE at this time of mourning.

The UAE President thanked His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for his condolences to the martyrs.
